If you ask me what's my favourite thing to do in Robe, it would have to be going on a walk along Robe's rugged coastline.

For guests staying at "The Kingfisher" holiday house this is my regular walking trail. Robe has so many attractions and this 10km walk is a great way to take them in.

Starting at the Kingfisher on Tobruk Ave, head towards Lake Fellmongery. Take a left on Harold St then continue on Main Rd past Lake Charra before heading up Barrowmans Dr.

Follow the nature track which will take you towards the coastline. At the T-section take a quick right to the "Outlet Bridge" - This will be your first look at the ocean, take a breather before heading back the way you came and continuing up the hill onto the coastal trail.

Keep an eye out for the man-made track which will take you down to "Hooper Beach". Next, you'll cut through the Sea Vu Caravan Park before making your way down to the "Town Beach".

Keep following the trail, past the Robe Hotel and the Customs House until you reach the Arthur Fennell Way Board Walk. Continue around the marina and past the Yacht Club which overlooks "Karrata Beach". This is the halfway mark.

A trip to the beach isn't complete without a "jetty walk" so off you go! On returning there is a small man-made track on the far right of the jetty carpark which will get you back on the walking track.

Next stop ... the Obelisk! Continue along the walking track until you arrive at this magnificent landmark. Isn't it great!

Once you've finished taking your selfies, stay on the track and head towards the Lighthouse. Along the way check out the "Doorway Rock" and the "Blow Hole" - Don't fall in!

From the Lighthouse head along Backler St and then cut down the hill which will get you heading back towards the town centre. Meander through the streets of "Old Robe Town" and check out the historical buildings along the way. Continue until you get to the main strip "Victoria Street". Grab yourself a coffee you deserve it!

Turn right onto Robe St and then take the first left onto Tobruk Ave; and your back at The Kingfisher. I hope you enjoyed your walk.
